EVA-02 The Beast 04 by ogamitaicho EVA-02 The Beast 04 by ogamitaicho
Hi everyone ! :)

Here is my EVA-02 - The Beast project.

It was my entry submission and WIP for the 2012 Mecha Contest on Mecha Lounge forum. (Formerly MAC Forum)
=> [link]

I'm a fan of Evangelion and I was glad to have won this kit on Yahoo Japan Auction last year.
I bought it 13000 Yens, that was a fair price because it is the price written on the instruction sheet.
It took me about 4 months to complete (mecha+base)
Painted with acrylics. See the WIP on my gallery page.

Here is a link to the reference scene (Spoilers for people who don't have seen the movie yet) => [link] You may see it at 2'50" just before the EVA Attack the Angel.

Name of the kit : EVA-02 : The Beast
Scale : Non
Origin : Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance
Sculptor :
Caster :
Part number : 47

Hope that you will like it and thanks to the people that supported me ! :D

Thanks to you ! This was a very fun project. :D The base took me more time than the kit itself ! ^_^
I have other EVA kits still in the box ! :)

You're welcome. Its funny how the base can sometimes take longer to build than the kit that inspired the project. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Sure ! I'm currently building a 1/4 figure and I have nearly finished the base...
It's not very complicated but always long when you start from nothing... I may post the final picts very soon. :D

He He , oui je me suis bien amusé sur ce petit diorama. ^_^
Merci pour le commentaire ! :giggle:
Voici des images de référence des 3 kits :
[link] [link] [link] mais bon ça sera pour + tard car ça prend énormément de temps ! ^^;

- Un full-kit résine du Gerbera Tetra (1/60) de G-System => [link]

Si tu as d'autres questions, n'hésite pas ! :hug:

Looks amazing, though how did you get such a smooth color gradient on the flesh?
